| hi champs, I have a question if all of a sudden a server crashed can you guys please tell me what are the immediate steps totake, or more importantly how to investigate what went wrong with the server.Thank You for you precious ideas. |

| Check your server event logs - I assume you mean Windows itself crashed rather than SQL Server.Quick way - Start->Run->Type eventvwr.msc. Look at your application and system logs firstly. Anything there, pick out the key words and google them :) |
