| We have an application running on SQL 2000 and the end users have started to encounter random freeze ups (entire user community). These freeze ups are generally short(under 5 minutes) and difficult to get in and evaluate. The couple of times I have gotten in at the end of them it appeared that spid 1 (LAZY WRITER) was the spid causing a lot of blocking.Anyone see or experience anything like this? I have done some reading on Lazy Writer am trying to capture stats off the server to see what the server is reporting but have really found nothing so far |
