I wrote a stored procedure and pass few parameters.

How can i check the input parameter datatype.

I want to do display user message if the user pass different parameter datatype than actual parameter datatype defined in sp.

Is any function available to check this in sql either server 2005 or sql server 2000

You should do this check at the front end where there are built in functions available, and your applicationa lready has knowledge of the type of parameters.
