hi friends,
we want to design a database to our company . the following are requirements,

we are 3 branches
in each brachch 3 department(I.T,Telecom,Recruitment)
in each dept, many employees
for each employee personal and official details
each branch has different leave entitlement(holidays)
each department inventory details need to be stored

pls help us in database design

you want to maintain single database for this? i suggest you keep three databases

For a company that has three branches, you probably need a third party piece of software to do your accounting / personnel management. There are MANY packages out there that will do the job.

just out of curiosity,why did you say 3 different databases right away???
