| I'm just posting my initial impressions of the software. Whereas Excel flys along on my system like a concord, the SQL Management Grid view refreshs at the pace of a tortoise crawling through molasses. It seems like the grid control isn't very efficient at displaying large grids of data. I have an 8800GT GPU, so I don't think it's a hardware prob.At one point, I did get a bluescreen while abusing the grid control with my pointer. I won't do that again. |

| Why don't you use queries instead of relying on the grid view?Tara KizerMicrosoft MVP for Windows Server System - SQL Serverhttp://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
