Hi guys, anyone has multiserver administration setup for your backup jobs? It's been tedious creating maintenance plans and jobs for each instance, and I am looking into this feature hoping for some convenience and to save time managing and reporting job failures. Can anyone share their experience? pros/cons..appreciate any feedback. Thanks.Donn Policarpio |

You can create jobs in that but not maintenance plans. |

Thanks rmiao. A script for the backup jobs in the master server would work better then. I wonder what the common problems are using multiserver setup.Donn Policarpio |

You still need create job for each server, the difference is that you do it from master server only instead of every server. |

I got that part where the target servers get a copy of the jobs. Seems you always got the right answer,..appreciate it.If you don't wanna buy third party software to manage your backups, would you recommend multiserver administration for ease of maintenance of backup jobs if dealing with over a hundred instances?Donn Policarpio |

You may need a dedicated server for that in this case. |
