| OK folks...here is my deal. I have had the SQL 2005 Dev. Installed on my machine for 6 mos or so. I have had an issue with VS2003,2005 and attempting to get 2008 to use some Silverlight applications...Long story short...Nothing is working for me and I know want to get my system back to ground zero (Prior to Silverlight desires) I have had to un-install several items. I am also trying to regain the VS2005 that came in my SQL2005 install.Anyway - I can not un-install my SQL2005 stuff from my PC? |

| That indeed was the problem...But as you can see from the programs menu. It was there and could be executed. Finally late last night I found the fix. I don't know why it worked but it removed all instance of SQL from my machine. I found this untility tool in my DVD and run it..:\SQL2005\SETUP\SQLRUN_TOOLS.MSIIt gave me an option of install or remove. I used remove and it pulled everything SQL related out. After than I just re-installed "Workstaion Components, Books Online and Development Tools" only....and it appears to be OK. |
