| Hi all,I'm new to SSRS. I installed reporting services with my other services in SQL Server 2005. When I started Reporting Service Configuration tool,I see that my Reporting Server Status Stopped. After installing, I opened RS Configuration. I see that the server status is stopped and when I try to start the service, I am getting the error(Task failed)quote:

| If you use 'MACHINE_NAME\ASPNET' in RS, ensure it is added as sql login in sql server. |

| Thanks for the replies. But the problem was with my IIS. I installed IIS after installing .NET framework and SQL Server.I uninstalled both of them and than installed them again after installing IIS.Also, I changed the rsreportserver.config file<WebServiceAccount>IWAM_MachineName</WebServiceAccount>Now, my report server is working good.. |
