I am wondering where the DMVs are stored? In tempdb? or resourcebd? or somewhere else?

There are system level DMVs and database level DMVs right..
So you are saying all DB level DMVs for each db are stored in their respective Db's? and system level in master db?

They are same. Sql2k5 has all those in system resource db and copy to every user db.
