| GuysI recently installed SQL Server Service pack on box, but found out one of application stopped working. Later found it that application used to work with MDAC 2.7 AND earlier..Now here is what I want to do..Uninstall MDAC 2.8 and Install MDAC 2.7 I dont want to go through pain to Uninstalling SQL and restoring all databases..Please help and guide meSKR |

| i don't know if there is a way to uninstall mdac.how do you know you were running MDAC 2.7 previously? MDAC 2.8 is 4 or 5 years old now. -ec |

| I checked it through Component checker..and it stated in SP3 that which MDAC was used, also SP4 had MDAC 2.8 in it.Thanks for your replies. I managed to do un-install of MDAC 2.8 and installation of MDAC 2.7.Thanks again.SKR |
