Unfortunately for a coworker today they asked me what HOBT stood for. After I gave them the real answer I had to get this one out of my head. Enjoy, happy Friday.

Three cores for sql server under the sky
Seven for the operating system lest it turn to stone
Nine for the off shore resources lest their database die
One for the reporting analyst all alone
In the Land of the Server Room where SQL Server lies
One ring buffer to rule them all, one query to find them
One ring buffer to bring them all and in the union all bind them.
In the land of the Server Room where SQL Server lies

Here's the original in case you're rusty on your Tolkien.

''Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie."
