Hello,
Currently we are running sql server 2008 and business intelligence i.e. ssis, ssrs.
Do you know if it is worth upgrading to a higher version I.e 2012 or perhaps 2014?
Any issues I might encounter during the upgrade?

Thank you

Worth it? It depends if you need any features, performance enhancements, etc. Whether it's worth it or not is dependent on your environment. But upgrading to a currently supported version is the number one reason why I'd upgrade in your case.

You should run the upgrade advisor and do a full regression test on the new version to determine if there'll be issues. We can't answer that for you.
