Of course the Pessimist side of me wants to know what happens later in the day when the site traffic picks up.

It feels much faster now than a couple of hours ago... It's extremely fast now... Has something more been done except the upgrade? During today?

I had forgotten how fast a yak could run. Apparently the yak laxative worked.

Hopefully it won't be too bad. It's 9AM my time right now so we've got all of Europe and 1/2 the US on right now. The middle of the day in the US is usually the busiest time.

Nope. Except that SQL Server is probably doing a better job caching data pages and building statistics.
