And doesn't anyone get a sense that it's total bs?

Are we on candid camera?

I like this

BTW we have hundreds of customers that sign our current contract agreement. We have been servicing the government and educational sector for over 20 years. We simply want to move off Pervasive and onto SQL server, but would like to maintain this data security.

Let's keep the replies here.

That discussion wasn't going anywhere useful, no point anyone really commenting.

Brett, not sure if I'm one of the guys you had in mind when you said this, but I've been around long enough that I might qualify. Here's how I responded. By the time I got to the post it was already into two pages. I read through all the stuff, made a couple of posts trying to clear up misconceptions. A while later I came back and couldn't believe it had doubled in length. I started to read more of the replies and got far enough to see that some other troll had joined the fight. I finally got tired of the stupidity and abandoned the thread. If someone really wants help and information, I'll help them. If they just want to start a war, let them flog themselves. I don't need to get caught up in their tantrum.
