Which is this site and forum.

Just wondering what hardware it runs on (CPU, Memory, etc) ?

I assume it's on an SQL backend.

I've added a number of indexes to increase query performance. Those also slow down inserts but shouldn't make it 20 seconds. We're running on a shared SQL Server so I'm guessing it's somebody else's poor queries. I haven't looked at overall performance in a while. I may have to again at some point.

Usually the inserts are ok but occasionally they hang and take a bit of time.
Like that one took 20.61 secs.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
