Should this be changed to:

Sam,

Funny you should ask :) I'm in the process of a fairly significant forum redesign. Rob and Damian are looking at it and I plan to roll it out before the first of the year.

Ok, it's really not that big of a change. We're just thinking of adding more SQL Server 2005 specific forums. No new software or anything like that.

Lots of 2005 questions are winding up in the normal forums, which is to be expected.

I suspect we are getting to the stage of needing a forum for SQL2000, SQL7, ... - and letting the SQL2005 questions just land in the main forums.

Lot's of questions end up in forums where they aren't really expected, like Oracle, DB2, or Sybase questions. Some people don't seem to know what version of SQL Server they are on. Others seem to regard SQL Server as a generic term for any database as opposed to a specific vendor product.

What about SQL Server 6.5, 6.0, and 4.2 forums?

Any chance we'll get the blogs fixed anytime soon?

And mySQL questions too...
Is our reputation that good so the poster prefer us over the vendors own forums?
Or can't posters read well?

How about a twit forum - that thread seems to attract a lot of attention here.

I'm proud to say that I haven't posted against that thread - my reasoning is - it would be like "The POT calling the Kettle Black".

Yes I'm still going to use Snitz. All I'm going to do is create some new forums.
