Genuine question, rather than me bitching!

Why do you guys edit these, rather than just delete the whole thread?

Just curious to know the thinking, 'coz I think you have a very good approach to moderating, but if it was me I would just nuke the bastards!

Graz wanted a no delete policy from the beginning, in the interests of being open and transparent about moderation.
If someone has replied to a message, even if it's to say "This is spam", nuking the thread will delete their post as well. I will sometimes delete when there are multiple posts of the same message, I'll lock and remove links from the first one, so show that we've caught it, and kill the rest.
